In an E-mail dated 10/27/09, LTC Ronald E. Udouj, S3 of 7th POG at Moffett Field CA sent photos and documents from the 7th POG Historical Files about COL Lundelius:

I don’t know if you seen a copy of what I am sending – but it is well crafted. COL Lundelius won the Silver Star on Christmas Day on Leyte in 44, and a Bronze star for Luzon.  Since he died of a heart attack in the barber shop on the 7th POG compound, I saw the newspaper clippings – and just thought this more than anything was a better tribute to a real leader that the newspapers wrote.

I looked at a lot of items so far – and this is probably one of the greatest historical tributes to 7th POG I have seen  - well crafted – good layout.
